On Thursday, September 28 th  at 7PM Oak Hill Academy is hosting a screening of the award-winning film SCREENAGERS.  The 70-minute film probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including the director’s own, and depicts messy struggles, over social media, video games, academics, and internet addiction. Through surprising insights from authors and brain scientists solutions emerge on how we can empower kids to best navigate the digital world.  Our Upper school students in grades 5-8 will be seeing this program at 1:00pm. We will have an evening program for the parents. Students who have a parent attend the 7pm showing will earn a dress down day.  If the parent is accompanied by a non- OHA adult, the student will earn two dress down days!  There will be a sign-in sheet that night of Sept. 28 th .

  • Dress Down Day

    Monday, May 5 7:55 am - 2:30 pm

    All Students must still be prepared with sneakers for Physical Education class or they will be unprepared as per the handbook. Hats, shorts, clothing with inappropriate sayings, clothing that is ripped, sandals, pajamas, slippers, flip flops, and tank tops are not permitted during the school day or during "dress down days." Professional “team jerseys” are permitted during “dress down days” as long as a t-shirt is worn underneath the sleeveless jersey. On a “dress down day,” slacks must be no higher than 5” above the ankle bone. On Dress Down days, skirts still should be of regulation length and blouses/shirts should be able to be tucked in at the waist. Short midriff and low cut blouses/shirts are not appropriate for school.  No clothing, pins, stickers or any items with partisan political messages per OHA’s Civil Discourse Policy.
