Oak Hill Academy’s Mission and Vision

Oak Hill Academy is a co-educational private school located in Lincroft, New Jersey. Founded in 1981 by our current Head of School and visionary, Mr. Joseph A. Pacelli, our independent Monmouth County school is nonsectarian, and nonprofit for grades pre-kindergarten through eight.

Originally utilizing the facilities of the Unitarian Church on West Front Street as a school for only 7th and 8th grade, our school and campus have grown to house a prekindergarten through eighth grade on over 20 acres at our current location at 347 Middletown-Lincroft Road in Lincroft, NJ . The Middle States Association of Elementary Schools granted Oak Hill accreditation in 1986, 1996, 2008 and 2017. In addition, Oak Hill is a member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools. The NJAIS “is a non-profit, voluntary membership association whose mission is to foster the educational, ethical, and professional excellence of its member schools, while safeguarding their independence. “

  • Dress Down Day

    Monday, May 5 7:55 am - 2:30 pm

    All Students must still be prepared with sneakers for Physical Education class or they will be unprepared as per the handbook. Hats, shorts, clothing with inappropriate sayings, clothing that is ripped, sandals, pajamas, slippers, flip flops, and tank tops are not permitted during the school day or during "dress down days." Professional “team jerseys” are permitted during “dress down days” as long as a t-shirt is worn underneath the sleeveless jersey. On a “dress down day,” slacks must be no higher than 5” above the ankle bone. On Dress Down days, skirts still should be of regulation length and blouses/shirts should be able to be tucked in at the waist. Short midriff and low cut blouses/shirts are not appropriate for school.  No clothing, pins, stickers or any items with partisan political messages per OHA’s Civil Discourse Policy.
