  • The essence of good discipline is RESPECT.
    The 13 principles of the code are:
    1. Treat everyone equally with respect and treat each other with common courtesy
    2. Be courteous
    3. Be ready to communicate
    4. Encourage others and share your expertise with them
    5. Give and accept constructive criticism
    6. Be receptive to change
    7. Be a team player
    8. Get involved
    9. Have a positive attitude
    10. Be honest and accept responsibility
    11. Recognize other people’s priorities
    12. Strive to do your best
    13. Respect diversity of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, physical and mental abilities, age, opinion and sexual orientation
  • Respect for authority
    • Listening carefully and quietly.
    • Being on time, prepared, and ready to learn.
    • Accepting personal responsibility for your actions.

    • Communicating in a polite, supportive and friendly manner.

  • Dress Down Day

    Monday, May 5 7:55 am - 2:30 pm

    All Students must still be prepared with sneakers for Physical Education class or they will be unprepared as per the handbook. Hats, shorts, clothing with inappropriate sayings, clothing that is ripped, sandals, pajamas, slippers, flip flops, and tank tops are not permitted during the school day or during "dress down days." Professional “team jerseys” are permitted during “dress down days” as long as a t-shirt is worn underneath the sleeveless jersey. On a “dress down day,” slacks must be no higher than 5” above the ankle bone. On Dress Down days, skirts still should be of regulation length and blouses/shirts should be able to be tucked in at the waist. Short midriff and low cut blouses/shirts are not appropriate for school.  No clothing, pins, stickers or any items with partisan political messages per OHA’s Civil Discourse Policy.
