Day of AI at OHA

Yesterday, all students, staff and faculty celebrated a Day of AI. Curriculum materials adapted from the  dayofai.org  with support from the  MIT RAISE  (Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education) Initiative and  i2Learning  programs framed the day.  Our school community also took advantage of relevant resources Oak Hill Academy has invested in such as the  Social Institute’s  #WinAtSocial peer-to-peer learning and the  MagicSchool  AI platforms.  All were exposed to concepts around artificial intelligence, engaged in rich discussions about these concepts, and given ample time to explore grade level specific MagicStudent AI powered tools.  We look forward to learning from this experience and the feedback gathered to help better understand the role AI can have in our school.
